The story of our brand: how the Panache spirit was born — between nature, surfing and a cool attitude
The beginning: an idea carried by the ocean
Some brands are born in an office.
Ours was born between two surf sessions, a board under our arm, sand in our pockets, and the offshore wind blowing ideas stronger than any brainstorming session.
The idea was simple:
Create a cap that never betrays the free, natural and slightly rebellious spirit that we live every day on the coast.
An accessory that can accompany a trip to the water, a coffee after the session, a walk on the cliffs, or a sunset on the beach.
Not a cap to show off.
A cap for living .
To feel the salt, the wind, the movement – and the style that goes with it.
The observation: surfing has its lifestyle, but not its caps.
In surfing, it's all about feeling:
the texture of the wax, the curve of a wave, the color of the sky, the right board at the right time.
But what about caps?
Always the same models, soulless, vibeless, unnatural.
We wanted the opposite:

It all starts in our workshop, often open to the fresh sea air.
Here, prototypes mingle with drying suits, rolls of velvet sit alongside boards, and each cap is designed to accompany a lifestyle: mobile, simple, connected to nature.
We test, we adjust, we cut, we sew again.
We go hiking with one prototype, we return to the water with another, we always check:
Does it hold up in the wind?
Does she tolerate salt well?
Does she have the flow?
If it's not a resounding yes , she goes straight back to the creation table.
